Schedule Night shifts : 4x12 hours (18 : 45 - 07 : 15), with floating required to similar units. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in med / surg nursing, along with the ability to handle various medical procedures and patient care tasks. The nurse will be required to manage heparin drips, administer medications, and perform wound care, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities Oversee patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a daily census of approximately 43 patients. Administer heparin and insulin drips, and monitor patients on High Flow Oxygen. Implement isolation precautions and manage wound care and wound vac dressing changes. Ensure cardiac monitoring, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as assigned. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role. Charge nurse experience preferred, particularly for night shifts. BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred. Experience with Epic charting system and ability to administer heparin and insulin drips. Why ARMStaffing?
