Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. We provide integrated health care services including medical, dental, and behavioral health through our 20 outpatient health centers. We deliver care with our strong "Hospitality" culture. Compensation
Pay : $33.96 to $49.24 hourly based on experience. An additional $2.00 per hour if you hold a BSN.
Sign-on Bonus : $5,000 paid as follows : $1,250 after 30 days, $1,250 after 90 days, $1,250 after 6 months, and $1,250 after 9 months. Current employees are not eligible. Loyalty Bonus : $5,000 after 1 year of service and $1,250 for every additional 3 months worked. Applies only to full-time employees; prorated for part-time.

Job Summary
The Quality Oversight RN champions quality and performance improvement (QI / PI) initiatives across Peak Vista, ensuring compliance with AAAHC, HRSA, and other regulatory standards. This role partners with leaders and frontline staff to design, implement, and sustain projects that improve patient safety, clinical outcomes, patient experience, and operational efficiency. The Quality Oversight RN plays a key role in preparing the organization for performance improvement, audits and advancing our mission of delivering exceptional, equitable care.

Qualifications

Education / Experience
Education : Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required; BSN preferred.
Experience : 2 years' experience in clinical nursing preferred. Experience in QI / PI or process improvement strongly preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt or equivalent project leadership experience desirable.
Certificates and Licenses
Current Colorado RN License required; Current CPR (BLS) preferred. Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of insurance. Must meet and maintain driver criteria as prescribed by Peak Vista's insurance underwriter.
Computer Skills
Proficient use of EHR to document care plans, conferences, and updates to providers accordingly. Basic knowledge of internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), and other relevant software programs.
Other Skills
Perform all job functions and responsibilities of an RN quality assurance and provide team education and second-level review. Knowledge of insurances such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers alike. Understanding of reimbursement methodology for each payer. Experience in data mining of multiple platforms to include EPIC, NextGen, COHRIO, and private payer portals. Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance to include governing bodies such as JACHO, AAAHC, HRSA & HEIDIS.

Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements and fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Able to travel from clinic to clinic as required.
