Information Assurance Analyst I - Manassas, VA

Job Description

Epsilon, Inc. is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst I to work onsite in Crystal City, VA initially and then transition to onsite in Manassas, VA within the first year.

The Information Assurance Analyst I will be the forefront of cybersecurity, ensuring that information systems maintain a robust posture and continue to meet the highest standards in national security. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior team members to ensure systems are secure, compliant, and properly configured according to federal regulations.

Responsibilities include :

• Providing aid to the program, organizations, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
• Assisting in proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information system security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintaining operational security posture for information system.
• Assisting with the management of security aspects of the information system and performing day-to-day security operations.
• Providing configuration management for information systems security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Reviewing security documentation to evaluate changes to systems and assessing the security impact of those changes.
• Preparing reports such as SSPs, RARs for (A&A) packages and SCTMs.
• Managing and maintaining Plans of actions and milestones, tracking remediation efforts, validating closure evidence, prioritizing and communicating risk, and ensuring timely completion.
• Overseeing Configuration Management : managing changes to security-relevant software, hardware, and firmware to maintain system security.
