Restaurant Manager Responsibilities :
- Oversee the FOH team
- Maintain, support and promote company culture and philosophies
- Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
- Take initiative and help to build business
- Contribute to controlling costs and maximizing efficiencies
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Remain hands on throughout the entire shift and assist as needed
- Hold the team accountable to high standards while remaining hands on and leading by example
- Ensure the team is well educated on the menu items
- Gather guests’ feedback, resolve guest issues and recommend improvements
- Appraise team member performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Control operational costs and identify measures to minimize waste
- Train new and current team members on proper guest steps of service
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Understand and comply with CA labor laws
Restaurant Manager Requirements :
Minimum 1-3 years as a Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Service Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager, or comparable hospitality management role in an upscale or fine dining restaurant conceptFine-dining and / or chef-driven restaurant experience a plusStrong knowledge of food, beverage, and steps of serviceEagerness to learn and growPassion for engaging with guests and providing outstanding, professional serviceProven successful track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safetyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to prioritize and manage time effectivelyAbility to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategiesPassion for hospitality and working with peopleAcute attention to detailHigh level of professionalism with an energetic, positive attitudeCommitment to providing exceptional service to guests and support to staff membersBasic computer literacyMust be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays as neededCompensation Package Includes :
