Flex Manager, Aaw
The Flex Manager, AAW will be an organized project manager ready to deliver a world-class experience to Marriott associates through Associate Appreciation Week. This position will work with the Director of Change Management and Associate Engagement and Senior Manager of Change Management and Associate Engagement to build and deliver events that drive pride in Marriott International. The individual will work to build project plans that keep these projects organized, within budget and on timeline, by managing logistics with stakeholders throughout the company, and promote the events with associates.
The Manager will be expected to have strong skills in project management, organization, budget management, communication, marketing and promotion, and relationship building to deliver successful events. Primary responsibilities include :
Education and experience required : Strong project manager with experience managing budgets, diverse stakeholders, and meeting tight deadlines in events planning and execution. Strong preference will be given to candidates with creative writing or design experience in internal communications, journalism, digital platforms, and marketing. A minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning, or working in a communications dept. Bachelors degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other relevant fields.
