Position : Tax Preparer

Location : Whitehall, PA

Type : On-site, Full-Time,

Start Date : January 10 (flexible based on client needs and candidate availability)

Pay rate : 20-25 / Hr

Position Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our seasonal team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing 1040 tax returns and familiarity with additional return types. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. This role requires adherence to tax laws, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare individual tax returns (1040) and other tax filings.

Review and analyze client financial information for accuracy.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Maintain accurate and organized tax records.

Communicate effectively with clients to collect information and answer tax-related questions.

Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in tax preparation , especially 1040 returns.

Knowledge of additional tax return types is a plus.

Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, EA) are a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
