Life Science People has partnered with a strong client based in Mission Bay, CA, and focused at the forefront of revolutionizing data analysis in biology;

making it faster, cheaper, and more accessible. Our client is developing a ubiquitous cloud platform to store, visualize, and analyze data from biological experiments, accelerating R&D milestones.

As an Account Executive or an Associate Account Executive, depending on your experience level, you will play a crucial role in driving the sales machine.

Your mission is to create predictable lead generation, identify market opportunities, and systematically book meetings. You will work closely with our world-class engineering team to solve the data bottleneck in biology and drive the growth of our client's sales team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Refine Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) alongside the product and sales team.
  • Orchestrate Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns personalized to ICPs.
  • Write and refine messaging frequently based on outreach data.
  • Navigate and work responses from leads to warm them up for qualification meetings.
  • Book demos and conduct hot-handoffs to our Account Executives to close opportunities.
  • Travel frequently to life sciences conferences around the world.

Ideal Candidate :

  • 1+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Account Executive (AE) at an early-stage cloud or software company.
  • Educational background in biology or the ability to quickly onboard biological / bioinformatics concepts.
  • Evidence of exceptional performance in prior roles.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts plainly.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and best practices.
  • Persistent and creative in approach, with a bold personality that doesn't take "no" for an answer (without being pushy).
  • Strong desire to excel in sales and contribute to a high-performing team
