Laboratory Technician [LH Primary Care / Shoal Creek]

SUMMARY : Responsible for blood collection procedures, performs clerical duties of the department including daily computer operations, charting of results, answering telephone and maintaining inventory of in-stock supply. Assists with processing send-out tests and pathology specimens.

Preferred Education / Training : High school diploma or GED

Preferred Experience : Previous laboratory, phlebotomy or direct patient care experience

Preferred Licensure / Certification / Registration : CMA; Nationally recognized phlebotomy certifications
