Job Details

  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.

    • Job Requirements

  • 2 years of experience required.
  • Active BLS certification required.
  • Active ACLS certification required.
  • Active NRP certification required.
  • Active PALS certification required.
  • RRT certification required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Contract length : 13 weeks.
  • Shifts : 12 hr shifts, 6-6 : 30.
  • Weekend Requirement : every other weekend.
  • Holidays : work them in with core staff rotation.
  • Call : not required.

  • THIS IS A POSITION FOR NICU

    • Additional Details

  • ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required, NRP, PALS;
  • Unit : Respiratory
  • Charge RT : Yes - 24 / 7
  • Scrub Color : black
  • Tele : phillips
  • Vents : Puritan Bennette 840
  • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house : yes
  • RT 24 / 7 : yes
  • Pharmacy 24 / 7 : yes
  • Floor specific orientation : 3 shifts at most
  • Types of patients : Adults, peds, and neonates, will not work NICU unless experience in that area
  • Duties : EKG's, ABG's, breathing treatments, vent management, high flow NC, chest vests, vapotherm
  • Candidates must have 2 years of experience or more and travel experience is preferred. Must also be proficient with bronchs.
