CVOR RN Job Details

Location : Fargo, North Dakota (Zip : 58104) – North Dakota healthcare jobs

Facility Type : Acute care, Level 1 Trauma Center

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 23 / 2026)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : 8 or 10 hour day shifts; flexibility to stay late as needed for surgical cases

Call : One day per week and one weekend every 3 to 4 weeks (off-site call, in-house support)

Floating : May float to other operating rooms and assist with other specialties

Scrub Color : Ceil Blue (provided)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,660 - $2,850

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN experience in a large hospital or Level 1 trauma setting

Proficiency with Epic (Optime) charting system

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state (North Dakota nursing license)

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)

Ability to independently circulate cardiovascular cases

Willingness to float to other ORs and assist with other specialties

Travel nurses must live at least 60 miles from the facility (local rate applies for those living 60-80 miles away)

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in cardiovascular operating room cases

Float to other ORs and support cases in additional specialties as needed

Participate in off-site call rotation (one day per week, one weekend every 3-4 weeks)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Utilize Epic (Optime) for accurate documentation and charting

Engage in department-specific training and orientation led by the OR educator
