Location : Springfield, IL 62769 (Illinois healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 17 weeks (11 / 17 / 2025 – 3 / 15 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour evening shifts; every other weekend (EOW); on-call required

Hours per Week : 36

Setting : Emergency Department (Trauma Level 1, Pediatric Level II)

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1950 - $2090 per week

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (required at time of application)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience

Required certifications : NIHSS, ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC

Preferred : EPIC EMR experience

Ability to provide emergency care to patients across the lifespan (NICU, pediatric, adult, geriatric)

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting

Respond to trauma and pediatric emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement evidence-based interventions

Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress

Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR (preferred)

Participate in on-call rotation and work every other weekend as scheduled
