Manufacturing Assembly Test Technician

Location : Arlington, TX (Aerospace Department)

Pay : $19.00 / hour + Sign-On Bonus

Shift :

Monday–Thursday : 5 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Friday : 6 : 30 AM – 10 : 30 AM

Some extended hours and Saturdays required

Job Summary :

We’re seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Assembly Test Technician to support aerospace production in a structured, quality-driven environment. This role is ideal for individuals with construction or oil field experience, who are physically fit, dependable, and serious about attendance. Every technician is assigned a mentor / trainer to ensure full training and support. Candidates must be comfortable following detailed procedures and working in non-climate-controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform mechanical assembly and testing of aerospace components

Use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools) and measuring devices (tape measures, calipers)

Read and follow detailed engineering drawings, procedures, and Manufacturing Instruction Procedures (MIPs)

Accurately document and follow all quality control (QC) hold points

Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance and performance

Assist with general warehouse / production tasks as needed

Operate safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat and cold

Requirements :

Must be proficient with hand tools and basic measuring instruments

High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes

Must be able to read and follow technical documentation and procedures

U.S. citizenship required (per government contract)

Reliable attendance and commitment to full shift hours

Must be physically fit – able to stand for 8–10 hours / day, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs

Must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment (heat / cold exposure)

Preferred Backgrounds :

Construction experience

Oil field or industrial mechanical experience

Prior manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience
