Job Overview
Responsible for performing the Drop and Count for a large gaming machine property under the direction of the Count Team Supervisor and in accordance with all departmental procedures. The employee ensures the safe and proper operation of the Soft Count currency equipment. The employee reports all variances and equipment problems to the Count Team Supervisor. Ensures the safe handling of the monetary assets under their control. Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility. Performs all other duties as assigned. The job functions for this position are highly regulated, and the Count Team Member will follow all rules and regulations in a consistent manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs the Drop and Count in accordance with all departmental procedures.
- Complies with all state and federal requirements.
- Ensures the safe handling of all assets.
- Operates and maintains the equipment necessary to perform the Drop and Count.
- Ensures positive relations and a team environment with all members.
- Transport Casino & Cash Operations supplies and promotional items as necessary.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of cash handling experience are required.Fluency in English both verbal and written is required.The individual must be computer literate, which includes the operation of a Windows computer, Excel, Word, and custom in-house programs.The applicant must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a General Employee Occupational License.Physical Demands and Work Environment
