POSITION SUMMARY :
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker position is an essential part of the Care Link Mobile Community Response Team (MCRT).  This program is a mobile response program serving individuals of all ages experiencing mental health crisis, difficulties with substance use and abuse and difficulties accessing basic needs.  MCRT collaborates with local law enforcement, fire department, 911 dispatch, community entities and community members. MCRT will offer crisis triage and management, risk assessment, in-person intervention, and case management. Teams will respond to calls to provide services directly in the field in the City of Stockton.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work
 - Possession of a valid California license as a Clinical Social Worker
 - Experience with crisis intervention services and use of case management techniques
 - Public speaking ability
 - Experience counseling individuals and families
 - Ability to work either Saturdays or Sundays

Dispatched and responds to emergency / crisis events in the community across StocktonProvides onsite therapeutic interventions support to persons and families in crisisCollaborates with other First Responders as needed to provide onsite crisis support including, but not limited to, transporting members to appropriate levels of careWill act as a leader for the dispatched mobile team, providing clinical guidance and instruction to team membersWill complete a concise assessment to paint a clinical picture of the members needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendationsMaking appropriate referrals for placement, case management and aftercare services, as assignedDeveloping and maintaining an awareness of community resourceOther duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

May require sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending, and stretching for files and supplies.  May require lifting up-to 25 pounds.  Vision must be correctable to 20 / 40 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts.  Requires ability to drive to outreach areas for presentations and other activities.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS :
Work is performed in an office environment within a clinic setting. Involves frequent contact with staff and the public. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with upset people.
