2026 Internship - Automation & Robotics Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

To support all new automation manufacturing technology projects, automation continuous improvement efforts, and implement best automation methods and standardization processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Collaborates with Engineering and Tool Engineering on automation solutions and build-plan methodology for new programs; Gives input / feedback on associated design criteria
• Identifies, justifies, and implements new technology and manufacturing techniques to improve safety / ergonomics, reduce manufacturing cost (labor, material, inventory, scrap), and improve product / process quality
• Design, build, implement and provide production support for all automation systems used in manufacturing
• Supports cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of automated systems in support of manufacturing
• Provide process capability specifications for new technology
• Analyzes / interprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications and issues engineering change requests (ECR) to improve or eliminate manufacturing issues in sustaining production operationsas related to automation
