Position Summary :

We are seeking a flexible and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a per diem basis. The OT will evaluate patients and provide individualized therapy aimed at restoring functional abilities and promoting independence in daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop patient-specific treatment plans

Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), fine motor skills, upper extremity function, and cognition

Recommend and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on safety and functional skills

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, speech therapists, nursing staff, and physicians

Ensure compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations and standards

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida

CPR certification required

Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or related settings preferred

Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Availability to work flexible hours as needed
