We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely payments and invoicing.
- Prepare and file quarterly tax forms such as 941 and 940, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
- Conduct cash flow analysis to forecast and manage financial stability.
- Utilize accounting software systems, including ComputerEase (Deltek) and Great Plains (GPAC), for efficient recordkeeping and reporting.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports, including annual budgets and periodic statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate processing, leveraging ADP systems.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial processes and systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ComputerEase (Deltek) and Great Plains (GPAC).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
- Familiarity with preparing and filing quarterly tax forms, including 941 and 940.
- Ability to develop and manage annual budgets effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate with team members and external partners.
