Regional Career Coach - School-to-Work Transition (Contract, 15-25 hours / week)

The Institute for Workplace Skills & Innovation America (IWSI America) is looking for experienced facilitators in :

Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Imperial and San Bernardino counties.

About the Role

This is a flexible, contract role where you nominate your availability (15-25 hours per week). It's hands-on and impactful-working directly with high school students with disabilities (ages 16-21) as they prepare for life after graduation.

You'll guide them in exploring careers, building workplace skills, and gaining confidence through real-world opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group workshops on career exploration, workplace readiness, and self-advocacy.
• Provide one-on-one coaching, helping students set goals and discover opportunities.
• Partner with employers to arrange site visits, mentoring, and short work placements.
• Inspire students to imagine and work toward their future careers.
• Build strong relationships with schools, families, and local communities.
