EHS Manager

A large manufacturing client supporting the Semiconductor industry in Chandler, AZ is looking to hire an EHS Manager directly responsible for supporting and implementing safety initiatives across major production sites. In this role you will be directly responsible for :

Ensures that EHS Management System and strategy are effectively implemented in all sites in the region.

ensures that site based safety professionals are appointed, obtains the qualification and develops the necessary skills required by the relevant legislation and governance codes.

Works with local management to manage a long term sustainable approach to the assessment of all risks, the recording of such risks and the swift introduction of measures to minimize such risks, both preventative and protective.

Ensures that local management operates a streamlined and effective SHE reporting system which will allow the monitoring of site H&S performance against lagging, but especially leading indicators

Ensures that the design and implementation of all EHS programs are successful in involving all employees; especially in informing, development and training.

Participates in EHS Performance quarterly / annual reviews, to provide input and advice

Undertakes investigations into serious incidents which may have a negative effect on the region & report as appropriate.

This role can pay between $105k-130k dependand on experience.

This role requires 10% travel to the 2nd production site in Nogales, MX

Semiconductor Manufacturing Experience

First Aid Credentials

10 years of experience within safety for a manufacturing environment.

5 years of direct safety management experience

Skilling in performing ISO and safety audits

ISO Certified

Experienced in managing safety programs across large sites

Has a valid passport, and is willing and able to drive to the secondary location in Nogales, MX.
