Job Title : Crisis Intervention Mental Health Clinician

Position Overview :
Aerobodies Inc. is seeking highly qualified and compassionate Mental Health Clinicians to support national crisis intervention efforts in response to critical incidents. Clinicians will provide specialized behavioral health services, psychological first aid, and trauma-informed care in alignment with the protocols of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). The role may require both individual and team-based deployment to incident locations across the United States.
This position plays a vital role in supporting the mental health and resilience of individuals and teams affected by high-impact events. Clinicians must demonstrate the highest standard of ethical and professional behavior, maintain confidentiality, and be adaptable to dynamic, often unpredictable environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate and deliver mental health services in response to BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) task orders, ensuring the quality, completeness, and timeliness of service delivery.
Provide expert recommendations for crisis intervention strategies, corrective action plans, and participate in After Action Reviews (AAR).
Ensure client satisfaction through compassionate care, professionalism, and adherence to clinical ethics and behavioral standards.
Maintain effective communication and coordination between field operations and Aerobodies’ management team.
Deliver services as part of an integrated Crisis Intervention Peer Support (CIPS) team or independently, as assigned.
Utilize ICISF-approved protocols and guidelines for the provision of Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services.
Conduct training sessions based on ICISF curriculum, including but not limited to :
Resiliency
Suicide Awareness
Death Notification
Critical Incident Support
Stress Management
Hospital / Family Liaison

Qualifications :
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Licensure or certification as a mental health professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, etc.) preferred.
Completion of ICISF training or willingness to complete required ICISF courses.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in crisis response, trauma-informed care, or emergency mental health services.
Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and emotional resilience in high-pressure environments.
Ability to travel on short notice via commercial carrier, rental, or personal vehicle.
Familiarity with OSHA and environmental safety protocols.
Commitment to maintaining boundaries, avoiding conflicts of interest, and refraining from self-promotion or making clinical promises on behalf of the government.
Work Environment & Expectations :
Travel to remote or emergency sites is required.
Must adhere to proper dress code and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), as needed.
Flexible scheduling; clinicians are expected to be on-call or available for deployment as incidents arise.
All services must be performed in compliance with federal, safety, and ethical regulations.
