LNG Operator / Instrumentation Tech

Overview

Elizabethtown Gas is a natural gas utility company that delivers safe, reliable, and affordable natural gas to over 300,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in multiple counties. This position is a union role that operates, monitors, and maintains LNG process systems at the LNG plant. The schedule may include a rotating shift, holidays, and weekends, with normal Monday–Friday hours when not on operational rotations. This role requires maintaining records required by DOT 193 and NFPA 59A, operating procedures and manuals, security and hazard materials, and personnel requirements. Duties involve working with high pressure gas, cryogenic liquids, high temperature machinery, high voltage, combustion chambers, and at elevated heights.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, operate, maintain, repair, and calibrate equipment and instrumentation related to production, storage, transfer, vaporization, and odorization of LNG.
• Perform LNG facility safety and security functions as required.
• Monitor and take action to maintain design conditions on LNG processing equipment.
• Monitor and operate automated systems to retrieve and send data for the department's operations.
• Perform other related departmental duties as required.
• May assist LNG Operators in more specialized work.

Qualifications

Experience preferred in refinery, SCADA, process control, instrumentation, and automation.

Compensation

Compensation Range : Start Rate - 36.25 USD. The pay range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or other compensation. Final offer based on qualifications, education, and experience.
