Tax & Fund Accounting Manager

This is a newly created role with a premier private equity firm that is looking to add a high performer to its finance team. This newly-created role will support the firm's growth with the launch of their newest fund.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, The Tax & Fund Accounting Manager will oversee the entire fund cycle including :

• Capital Calls
• Preparation of financial statements.
• Distributions
• Reviewing tax returns prepared by Big 4 firm.
• Supporting deal team and Investor relations activities.

This position offers excellent pay and benefits, including above market incentive compensation. The firm is based in the Chevy Chase / Bethesda / Friendship Heights area.

Qualifications :

BS in Accounting / CPA

4-7 years of experience in Big 4 / Public accounting

Experience in tax with private equity client base is required.

Compensation depends on experience and education, $130-180K per year with additional bonus, and benefits.
