About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist

License : Driver's license required

Certifications : RCIS, BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Hospital-setting Cardiac Cath / IR experience

Description :

Candidates must float for call to multiple campuses.

The call team covers after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Candidates should ideally live centrally located between campuses.

Response time is expected to be within 30 minutes from the home campus.

Call frequencies vary based on demand.

Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.

Refusal to comply with this policy may lead to termination of contract.

The department will perform intra-procedural circulating duties, including supplies and medication administration.

Experience with EMR and equipment is necessary, specifically EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting.

Supervisors oversee shifts, and approval is required for scheduling.

A minimum of 10 shifts on call is required during weekdays.

Weekend and holiday call requirements also apply.

The lab performs a variety of procedures, primarily interventional radiology with cardiac inpatient add-ons.

The environment is prepared for treating STEMI cases and stabilizing patients as necessary.

All candidates must submit any time-off requests up front.

Additional requests for time off will not be approved after submissions.

Cancellations can occur, up to four shifts for assignments of 13 weeks or more.

Shifts are scheduled in surgical greens dress code.
