About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Must be able to provide patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to monitor procedural sedation

Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab.

Candidates must have experience in electrophysiology and / or Cath lab competencies.

Call and weekends are required.

Holidays may also be worked on occasion.

A minimum of one year of experience in the Cath Lab is mandatory.

Travelers with experience are welcome to apply.

Essential skills include Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Angioplasty, and Antiarrhythmics.

Candidates should be familiar with arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping.

Experience in interventional procedures such as stent placement and catheterizations is required.

Knowledge of emergency medications and infection prevention is expected.

The role involves monitoring various cardiac devices and performing procedures such as pacemaker insertion.

Familiarity with transesophageal echocardiography and vascular closure systems is a plus.

The patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily case load is approximately 25-30 cases.

The unit comprises eight rooms dedicated to procedures.

Candidates should be prepared to adapt to facility needs and float to similar units when required.
