Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Located in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Pediatrix Urgent Care (formerly Night Lite Pediatrics Urgent Care) is seking APPs nterested in providing exceptional patient-centered care in an urgent care setting.

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Pediatric PAs / NPs to join our Urgent Care team in Port St. Lucie, Florida . As an Urgent Care practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Job description : â

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric patients (newborn to 21 years old)
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and screenings
• Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
• Work closely with supervising physician for collaborative patient care
• Provide patient and family education on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Pediatric or urgent care / emergency department experience preferred
• Experience with procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D's and urinary catheterization preferred, but not required

Schedule : â

• Clinic hours are Monday Friday 3pm-11pm; Sat / Sun 11am-11pm
• Full-time, Part-time
• Great schedule flexibility is a plus!

• Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Minimum of a master’s degree
