Director of Architecture
KMJ's client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect with a profound expertise in building assembly design within a Building Information Modeling (BIM) context.
This role is crucial as our client accelerates its platform development aimed at addressing key industry pain points.
The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong foundation in building science and demonstrate the ability to autonomously resolve complex design challenges in various conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design Leadership : Independently resolve intricate building assembly designs across diverse conditions, ensuring technical and aesthetic excellence.
- Collaborative Drafting : Effectively draft solutions within the BIM context, working closely with the internal content team to enhance platform capabilities.
- Innovation Demonstration : Present innovative solutions to potential customers, highlighting the unique benefits and features of the platform.
- Content Creation : Produce visually appealing educational and marketing materials that communicate technological advancements and their practical applications.

Experience and Educational Requirements :
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum twelve (12) years of professional experience in Architecture or Construction, with significant exposure to design development and construction documentation phases.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and familiarity with CSI Division and the Master Specification System.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex ideas and engaging with diverse audiences.
This is a remote position but the ideal candidate would be based in Massachusetts to allow for team meet ups, lunches, happy hours, etc.
