Overview Position Summary: The Health Education Coordinator will be a dedicated resource for division-wide educational activities, supporting daily educational opportunities and meeting the growing needs of faculty development, as well as coordinating all rotators, medical students, and Sub-Interns. Key Responsibilities: Support division-wide educational activities and daily educational opportunities. Coordinate faculty development and educational activities for rotators, medical students, and Sub-Interns. Utilize data management and reporting tools/software to track and report on educational initiatives Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years full-time professional experience in development and coordination of instructional programs and materials for health education required. Preferred hospital-based, pediatric health education experience. Proficient in data management and reporting tools/software. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to support fellows while maintaining accountability Preferred Attributes: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with healthcare staff and community representatives. Commitment to improving health outcomes through education. Ability to create and manage educational programs that are engaging and effective. Hospital-based, pediatric health education experience preferred. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor of Science degree in health education or equivalent combination of experience and education. Master of Science degree in public health/health education preferred. Pay Scale Information $55,120.00-$95,202.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
