Scheduling Analyst III – Contract Opportunity with LHH
Location : Houston, TX 77042
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
Pay Rate : $45–$50 / hour
About the Role
LHH is seeking a Scheduling Analyst III for a contract position in Houston, TX. This role is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling across multiple projects and departments. You will serve as the primary point of contact for schedule development, maintenance, and reporting, while also supporting financial tracking and compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of scheduling methodologies and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain Project Schedules : Create detailed schedules using ERP systems or scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
Coordinate Across Teams : Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and operations to align timelines and resources.
Analyze and Report : Prepare schedule performance reports, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Resource Management : Monitor resource allocation and resolve conflicts to keep projects on track.
Financial Integration : Support cost tracking, budget alignment, and reconciliation of scheduling data with accounting systems.
Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement : Identify process gaps and propose enhancements for scheduling efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience : 5–10 years in scheduling and accounting-related roles.
Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems .
Industry background in energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing .
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or PMP .
Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with compliance standards and project controls.
Pay Details : $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
