Position Summary
The Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for aiding faculty with all phases of
lab preparation including ordering, set-up, and other activities associated with
lab delivery. Responsibilities also include oversight and daily maintenance of the
department laboratories that include : Physics; Thermal and Fluids; Structures,
Optics; and Astronomy. Additional responsibilities include assistance to
students, ensuring a safe laboratory environment, and other related laboratory
duties.

The employee is required to wear safety glasses and gloves when working with hazardous chemicals

Less than 5% is expected for this position. Some minimal travel during work hours might be needed for
maintaining or repair of equipment or instrumentation.

The salary for this position is $45,123, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
