As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols remain visible throughout the location and respond to situations as needed. Pay Rate : $18.62 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Thur 10 : 30 AM - 06 : 30 PM

Fri 10 : 30 AM - 06 : 30 PM

Sat 10 : 30 AM - 06 : 30 PM

Sun 10 : 30 AM - 06 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate healthcare and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including business areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations according to established protocols.

Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors as needed.

Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred subject to state and / or local laws and regulations.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
