Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Primarily age 60+ Patient Volume / Census : patients / day Admissions : Yes Rounding : Yes Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : General cardiology No. of Beds in Department : Hospital has 268 beds EMR System : Cerner Office Equipment Available : Standard cardiology diagnostics and treatment equipment Specialty Backup Available : 2 other cardiologists on staff Support Staff Available : Full hospital support team Reason for Coverage : Locum coverage for general cardiology need Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 30 days Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Not specified General cardiology evaluations and ongoing management Licenses : AZ license or IMLC accepted Certifications : ACLS, BLS Experience : Minimum 2 years Other Qualifications : Board Certification in General Cardiology preferred; strong interpersonal skills required Provide full-time general cardiology care in a hospital setting Manage patients per day Participate in call rotation 1 2 weekends per month Collaborate with fellow cardiologists and hospital staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
