Overview

Our client located in Clearwater, Florida is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution, ensuring efficient case progression and client communication. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a dynamic legal environment that values accuracy, organization, and proactive case management.

This role is hybrid / remote after learning office procedures. Bonus potential.

Duties

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from initiation through litigation

Gather, analyze, and research relevant information and documents

Educate clients on case progression and set realistic expectations

Escalate issues to attorneys as needed

Maintain and organize client files efficiently

Calculate, track, and manage case deadlines

Review, analyze, and summarize case files and medical records

Draft, review, and file legal documents, including discovery responses, motions, complaints, and other pleadings

Assist attorneys with case preparation for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

Prepare a variety of legal documents as required

Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Paralegal Certification; preferred

Personal Injury (Plaintiff) experience, required

Litigation experience required

Complex Litigation and Personal Injury experience a plus

Federal Court experience a plus

SKILLS REQUIRED :

Proficient with computers and standard office equipment

Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions, adapt quickly, and meet deadlines

Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work independently

Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues

Professional demeanor and appearance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in planning, organization, and reporting

Strong multitasking and time-management abilities with a focus on prioritization

Customer service–oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Effective follow-up and attention to detail

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information with discretion

Proficient in legal administration and professional legal writing
