Job Opening : Intermediate Manual Lathe Machinist

Conhagen is seeking a Intermediate Manual Lathe Machinist for our La Marque, TX location. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5-6 years of machining experience. The Manual Machinist will perform machining operations on pumps, turbines, and other equipment components in the Conhagen machine shop as directed.

Requirements :

5-6 years of manual machining experience
Familiarity with interpreting blueprints
Knowledge of HSE procedures and machining principles
Proficiency in using measuring equipment
Skills in various machining operations including lathe and mill work

Job Responsibilities :

Fabricate parts from blueprints using various materials

Use precision measuring tools

Inspect machinery and adjust as needed

Operate transportation machinery

Ensure compliance with safety regulations

Train apprentice machinists when needed

Additional machine maintenance when required

Additional Requirements :

Adequate English language skills

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Background check and drug screening required

Minimum five year background in manual machining

Proficiency in various machining tools

History of safety compliance

Available to work overtime when required

Working Conditions :

Machining shop environment with moderate noise

Use of specified safety gear

Flexibility to changes in work orders and schedules
