Mobile Speech Language Pathologist (New Graduates Accepted) - Suffolk County, NY

Job Type : Part-Time
Roles & Responsibilities :
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of speech, language, communication, and feeding / swallowing skills in the child's home environment.
Identify speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication delays or disorders.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's developmental needs.
Incorporate family-centered approaches, involving parents / caregivers in therapy.
Provide education and training to caregivers to reinforce therapy strategies at home.
Document sessions accurately and maintain required clinical records.
Advocate for children's communication needs within the home and educational settings.
Education & Qualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited program.
Hold a valid New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology (Office of the Professions).
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or willingness to obtain.
Prior pediatric experience preferred (1-2 years), but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Will be travelling to the client homes within Suffolk county.
