About The Position

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technologist

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedures; preferred 3 years.

License : Required certifications in relevant fields

Certifications : RCIS or RCES, BLS, ACLS, PALS (only required in specific locations)

Must-Have : Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Description :

Floating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Responsibilities include adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and / or structural heart procedures.

Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained.

Ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.

Responds to and provides emergent care as needed.

Performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.

Ensures maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the lab.

Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with relevant regulations.
