Job descriptionCompetitive and negotiable salary Health insurance included Paid on the books Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and laundry Maintain the home’s overall organization and cleanliness at all times Assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleanup Support childcare needs, including supervision, engaging activities, and routines for young children Ensure the home is always tidy, organized, and family-ready Care for fine furnishings and delicate surfaces appropriately Run local errands as needed Assist with family routines, coordinating with parents to provide a supportive and positive home environment Assist with light cooking family meals, and snacks for the kids. Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in private homes with both housekeeping and childcare responsibilities Experience caring for multiple young children Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive with a positive attitude Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic household Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and confidence driving in the area

Position Overview
A private family in Short Hills, NJ is seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper / Nanny to care for their home and assist with childcare. The residence is approximately 7,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, and the family includes three children (preschool-age, toddler, and infant). The ideal candidate is organized, nurturing, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a high level of cleanliness and care in a busy household.
The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, and confident managing both childcare and housekeeping tasks, and comfortable working collaboratively with the live-in full-time housekeeper.
