Description :

Contract position for an RN in a medical-surgical unit.

The shift will be from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM.

No call is required for this position.

Candidates must possess BLS certification and NIH Stroke Scale knowledge.

Candidates should be skilled in Med-Surg assessment and pharmacology assessment.

Strong Med-Surg skills are essential.

Unit has 40 beds with a staff comprising of charge nurses, RNs, and patient care technicians.

Patient-to-staff ratios are 5-6 : 1 during the day and 6 : 1 at night.

The unit utilizes electronic medical records.

Permanent positions are available on the unit.

Looking for collaborative, positive team players.

Dress code is navy blue scrubs.

New technologies and equipment are being adopted in this unit.
