Recreation Center Maintenance Person (Part-Time)
This is a year-round, part-time position responsible for the care and maintenance of recreation facilities. Average hours are 28 per week. Shifts vary and include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, due to operation of ice rink equipment.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists in start up, seasonal operation, general operation, and closing of all facilities
- Assists in special event set-ups
- Performs daily building repairs and maintenance
- Ice rink maintenance (cutting and edging)
- Swimming pool maintenance
- Assists with repairs of machinery and equipment as needed
- Assists with special projects
- Maintains high level of cleanliness and repair of all facilities
- Custodial

High school diploma / G.E.D.One year of experience in facilities maintenance preferred. (Experience in ice rink, swimming pool, or similar facilities preferred training provided)Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license is required at time of appointment and must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.Pa. Pesticide Technician License desired (employee receives additional compensation with certification)Essential Physical Job Functions
