Senior Manager, Decision Science-Supply Chain Analytics

As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Analytics within the Best Buy Digital, Analytics, and Technology organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact analytic solutions that drive strategic and operational outcomes across the supply chain organization. You will play a critical role in shaping the team's strategy, owning work prioritization, guiding technical execution, and partnering cross-functionally to embed data-driven decision-making into the business. The team seeks a candidate with extensive background in supply chain operations and experience in applying analytic techniques to solve problems in supply chain.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of individual contributors
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understand business challenges and identify opportunities where analytical solutions can drive improved business outcomes
• Partner with business stakeholders to develop their requests into well-structured outcome-based engagements with clear analytic solutions scope
• Oversee the design, development and deployment of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics to aide in continuous improvement of Best Buy's supply chain
• Partner cross functionally with supply chain, technology, data operations and ML ops leaders to co-create solutions that deliver impact on operations
• Define success metrics and determine measurement criteria for new capabilities and to monitor the performance of established strategies and operations consistently
• Leverage custom-built models and off-the-shelf optimization packages to build solutions to address supply chain opportunities
• Effectively communicate with diverse audiences - including technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership - through both written and verbal channels
