Please be aware that this position is for full-time, in-office work in Newport Beach, CA.
Compensation : $22 - $27 hourly DOE

Responsibilities :
- Assist with estate planning, trust administration, probate, and conservatorship cases
- Prepare court hearing and client files, initial drafts of pleadings, and other court documents
- Communicate with clients, courts, financial advisors, trustees, law firms, and other personnel
- File documents with the Court, mail-serving documents, and scheduling court appearances
- Assist with client meetings, including Estate Planning signing meetings
- Maintain and monitor case progress, deadlines, and important timeframes / milestones
- Document information in the law firm’s practice management system
- Support the office with answering phones, special projects, and general administrative duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a law firm
- Paralegal Certification or qualify as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code 6450
- Set priorities, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent communicator and organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (knowledge of Actionstep is a plus!)
- Reliable commute or will relocate prior to starting position
