Security Officer - Transportation Site Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Transportation Site Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will engage with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Time :

Monday : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday : 01 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity as per Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and personnel while on patrol.
  • Support emergency response efforts and / or evacuation processes as directed by site management and Allied Universal procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Certification in CPR and / or First Aid is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
