What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.

Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Remain alert to potential security-related threats or hazards within the utility environment and take appropriate action as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
