Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Media Tagging Specialist / Marketing Analyst with a strong foundation in web development, debugging, and tag management. This role ensures accurate data capture for media campaigns, site interactions, and conversion events, enabling reliable analytics and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own end-to-end implementation of tags / pixels for media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, DV360, Trade Desk) via Ensighten Tag Manager.
- Translate media and analytics requirements into robust technical tagging specifications and data layer mappings.
- Build, deploy, and maintain Ensighten containers, rules, and extensions; manage tag governance, versioning, and rollback procedures.
- Debug and validate tags using browser dev tools, Ensighten tools, and platforms like GA / GA4, Floodlight, and network inspectors.
- Troubleshoot cross-browser, cross-device, and SPA / SSR tracking challenges (e.g., history changes, virtual pageviews, consent states).
- Collaborate with media, analytics, privacy, and engineering teams to align tracking with campaign objectives and business KPIs.
Qualifications and Skills :
3–5+ years in web analytics implementation or tag management; 2+ years hands-on with Ensighten Tag Manager.Strong web development skills : HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), JSON, DOM manipulation, and familiarity with SPA frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and SSR / Next.js concepts.Proficiency with debugging tools : Chrome DevTools, network tab, console, breakpoints, and proxy tools (e.g., Charles / Fiddler).Experience with analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, GA4), conversion tracking, and major media pixels.Working knowledge of data layers (W3C or custom schemas), event modeling, and tag firing conditions.Understanding of privacy, consent, and data governance; experience integrating tags with CMPs.Knowledge of digital marketing channels and their measurement.
