QMHP Therapist - Pediatric Clinic

Kartini Clinic, an internationally recognized pediatric eating disorder treatment facility in Portland, Oregon is passionate about providing children and families with the treatment, support, and education they need both medically and therapeutically. Since 1998 our multidisciplinary team has treated more than 3,000 children and young adults with all forms of disordered eating within our family based treatment center. We believe parents do not cause eating disorders and children do not choose to have them!

If you have a master's degree in a behavioral health field and enjoy working with children and adolescents this could be a great fit for you! The ideal candidate is an energetic, creative thinker with good organization skills. Someone who can work independently, but has a team player attitude is also essential in this position. Family and Milieu work, along with DBT experience will be an asset for this role.

Your main responsibilities will include working with our patients to provide therapeutic interventions as well as assisting the family with treatment plan compliance. Timely charting is a necessary part of this role as well as attending weekly staff meetings for coordination of care purposes and continued learning and engagement. Other tasks include performing or assisting with safety assessments, supervising and eating therapeutic meals with the patients, and providing coverage for your teammates as needed.
