Travel RN – Med / Surg Telemetry (Days)

Location : Syracuse, NY

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Days | 12-hour shifts | Every other weekend & some holidays required

Job Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced day shift RNs for adult Med / Surg / Telemetry units in Syracuse, NY. Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and EPIC proficiency are preferred. Candidates must be skilled in IV starts, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring.

Assignment Details : Duration : 13 weeks

Schedule : Days, 12-hour shifts

Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend & some holidays

Qualifications :

Active New York RN license – Required

BLS Certification – Required

ACLS Certification – Preferred

Minimum 1.5 years recent Med / Surg or telemetry experience in an acute care facility of similar size / level – Required

Level 1 or 2 trauma experience – Preferred

EPIC EMR experience – Preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and clinical judgment skills

Duties & Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive nursing care on Med / Surg / Telemetry units

Start IVs, draw labs, monitor telemetry, administer medications, and respond to patient needs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Provide care with minimal orientation and supervision
