ER RN Job Details – Albuquerque Healthcare Jobs Location : Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Facility : Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital, Children's Hospital Contract Type : Travel Nursing Contract Start Date : January 26, 2026 End Date : April 27, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts / week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 (option for 48 hours available) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1800-$1840 Patient Ratio : 1 : 5 Guaranteed Hours : Contracted hours per week (facility may call off up to 3 times during assignment) Parking : Free Scrub Color : Black (not provided) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM license can be pending at submission) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma experience preferred; 1.5 years considered for exceptional candidates) Travel nursing experience preferred Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be pending until compliance due date) No RQI certifications accepted No local candidates within 75 miles COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions accepted with documentation) Experience with Cerner charting system preferred Personal transportation required Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a busy Emergency Department, including trauma and resuscitation cases Administer IV and other medications, monitor patient responses Accurately document and communicate clinical findings Perform triage, manage acute and critical patient conditions, and respond to emergencies Float to Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma areas as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including bar code medication scanning and infection control protocols Participate in orientation and required training modules Discover the unique blend of Southwestern charm, outdoor adventure, and a supportive healthcare community in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
