Schedule : 4x10s, Day Shift (6 : 45 AM - 5 : 15 PM)
Required Certifications : ACLS Preferred, BLS
Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska.
The ideal candidate will be well-rounded in cardio and vascular procedures, with specific experience in open heart and endovascular surgeries.
While 1-2 years of experience is highly preferred, exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered, especially if they possess significant open heart and endovascular experience.
Responsibilities :
- Scrubbing and circulating in cardiovascular and vascular hybrid procedures.
- Providing patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries.
- Assisting the surgical team with instrumentation and equipment.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and assisting with anesthesia administration.
- Maintaining a sterile operating room environment and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outes.
Requirements :
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or eligible to obtain)
- ACLS certification (Preferred)
- BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience in open heart and endovascular surgeries
- Ability to scrub and circulate in cardiovascular and vascular hybrid procedures
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
