Overview
The District Attorney's Office is hiring a Limited Term Diversion Specialist.
In this position, you will work with juvenile offenders in accordance with the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board standards (SOMB). It is an exciting time to be in diversion as we have increased our capacity and work with community partners to diversify opportunities for those in the criminal justice system to take responsibility while working on personal growth and repairing harm to the community.
We are looking for an individual who wants to help juveniles better themselves, prevent future unlawful behavior, and strengthen our community. The caseload for this position is primarily youth who commit sexual offenses and are eligible for Diversion.
The primary responsibilities of this position include assessing and working with juvenile offenders utilizing SOMB standards, as well as providing support and programming.
The typical work hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. After a probationary period, telecommuting for one day a week may be available.
