Job description
Seeking dedicated and experienced Travel RNs to join our dynamic team.

As a Correctional RN, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a Correctional Center/Facility located in Groesbeck, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare.

Position: Correctional Nurse -RN
Location: Limestone County, Groesbeck, TX
Schedule: 13-Week Contract- 7P-7A night shift
Starting Pay: $55 an hour with per diem based on travel.

What You'll Do:
As a Correctional Nurse, you'll be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a correctional facility you will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency care, while managing chronic conditions and promoting wellness. They ensure compliance with medical and legal standards, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver safe, professional care in a secure environment.

Requirements:
  • R license in Texas or "Compact" Multi-License
  • 1+ years of recent nursing experience preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Job Responsibilities for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Corrections

  • Perform patient assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care as needed.

  • Manage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health and wellness.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver quality care.

  • Follow infection control protocols and conduct screenings and immunizations.

  • Support security measures while delivering safe and professional care.

This is NOT a remote position. Confirm you are willing to travel to Groesbeck, TX for the duration of the assignment
RN License or Cert in State of Assignment
