Job description

Hospital needs a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon to cover occasional weekend call and occasional PTO coverage!

Details :

  • Ideal start : ASAP
  • Specific dates TBD
  • Schedule : 7am-7am
  • EMR : Epic
  • 1 CT Surgery dedicated OR
  • 4 available PAs rotate to support surgeon in OR
  • Patient Population : Adult / Geriatric

Required Procedures :

  • Adult cardiac surgery
  • General thoracic surgery
  • Aortic dissection
  • CABG
  • Tube thoracostomy
  • Pericardial window
  • Thoracotomy lung resections and pneumonectomy
  • Heart valve repair / replacement surgery
  • Dissection
  • VA + VV ECMO placement.

    • Submission Requirements

  • Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency and CT fellowship program - REQUIRED
  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • Active ID license - REQUIRED (no exceptions)
  • ACLS and DEA - REQUIRED

    • Clean background / no malpractice - REQUIRED
